Sensory integration is a movement-based play therapy for children.

It activates the cerebral cortex, the centers responsible for perceiving the upper frequencies of the voice. In other words, Forbrain establishes a connection between the ear as a physiological organ and the brain.
The sessions build a child's harmonious perception of the world around them. The sessions build correct motor praxis, develop cognitive abilities through movement and support neuroplasticity, a property of the nervous system (absence of rigidity).
Sensory integration is important for developing the skills of perceiving and interacting with the world, especially in children, and can influence their development and learning.
